Chalkboard Genius

Fill the chalkboard before the bell rings. Fill a giant chalkboard with quick mental math starring pixel Albert Einstein. Solve sums before each countdown runs out, build a streak and complete the famous equation in this free math game.

Twist: The chalk keeps flowing: every right answer becomes the first number of the next sum.

Parody. Albert Einstein has no involvement in making these games and does not endorse them. The character is an original pixel-art caricature.

How to play

  1. It is a chain reaction: whatever you just answered is written at the start of the next sum. Answer 12, and the next line might read 12 + 7.
  2. Tip: keep the last answer in your head, so you are already halfway through the next sum when it appears.
  3. Every right answer writes a new line on the chalkboard. Faster answers score more, and a streak builds a multiplier up to X4.
  4. One mistake or a timeout wipes the board and ends the round. Each sum has its own timer bar, and times tables join in as the chain grows.
  5. Tap or press Space to begin, then choose a button by tapping or with the keys 1 to 4. Fill the board to the top to light up the famous equation.
  6. Press P or Esc to pause, M for sound, and share your best chain with a friend.

The story

The lecture hall is packed, the chalk is ready and pixel Albert Einstein has promised his students the most famous equation of all before the end of class. The trouble is that the chalkboard is still completely empty and the bell rings in a few minutes. Today's lesson has a title: Chalkboard Genius.

Every correct answer adds a new line of chalk to the board, every streak makes the chalk fly faster and a single wrong answer means wiping it all clean. Fill the board to the top and the final equation lights up for the whole hall. Leave a gap and the class will have to come back tomorrow.
