About Vincent van Gogh (Parody)

Vincent van Gogh (1853–1890) was a Dutch painter whose sunflowers, starry skies and bold, swirling brushstrokes made him one of the best-loved artists in history. He worked for only about ten years, moving from dark Dutch scenes to the blazing light of the south of France, and painted hundreds of canvases full of fields, cafés, cypress trees and faces.

This parody shrinks him to a handful of chunky pixels and lets him loose in a world built from that bright palette: a little yellow house, wheat waving in the wind, village rooftops under spinning stars and an easel that is always half finished. It is a light-hearted caricature drawn in pixel art and chiptune, made with admiration, and it has no connection to any museum, foundation or estate.
