About Cleopatra (Parody)

Cleopatra VII was the last ruling queen of ancient Egypt, born around 69 BC, famous for her intelligence, the many languages she spoke and the dramatic story of her reign from the city of Alexandria. Over two thousand years later she is still one of the most recognisable figures of the ancient world. This parody turns her into a pixel queen with a golden crown, a sharp black fringe and a cat that follows her everywhere.

The eight games here bring ancient Egypt to arcade size: a dash past the pyramids, a barge race down the Nile, a pyramid built block by block, the lighthouse of Alexandria lit with quick sums, a glide on golden wings, a line of royal cats, a wall of drifting harbour cargo to break and treasure tiles to match while dodging cobras. It is a light-hearted pixel caricature, not an official project of any museum.
