The new laboratory hall has finally opened, and every little cart in the building has been loaded with test tubes and flasks for the first big experiment. There is only one problem: nobody has told the carts where to go. Pixel Marie Curie walks to the front, and the carts roll into a neat line behind her, wheels squeaking. Her students write it into the lab book as the Glow Cart Chain.
Glowing crystals have been left all over the tiled floor after a long night of measuring. Each one she picks up brings another cart rolling to the back of the chain, and the chain gets longer and a little faster every time. Old brick walls surround the hall, so one wrong turn ends the round, and so does bumping into her own carts. Now and then a golden magnifying glass turns up for a moment, perfect for a closer look. How long can the chain grow before morning?
