Tuileries Parade

Lead a marching band through a garden of hedges. Lead a marching band through the clipped hedges of a palace garden with pixel Napoleon. Steer with the arrows or a swipe, collect flags to add drummers to the line and find your way around the hedge walls without bumping into them in this free snake game.

Twist: Fixed hedges turn the garden into a little maze, so you plan a route around the walls as you grow.

Parody. Napoleon has no involvement in making these games and does not endorse them. The character is an original pixel-art caricature.

How to play

Start and steer with the arrow keys, WASD or a swipe. Pixel Napoleon never turns straight back.
Clipped hedges form a little maze inside the garden. They never move, so plan your route around them; flags only appear on the open paths.
Each flag is worth 10 points and adds a drummer to the line, which speeds the parade up a little.
The hedges, the garden walls and your own band end the round if you bump into them.
Press M for sound and P or Esc to pause. When the round ends, share your score and challenge a friend.

The story

The palace garden has been trimmed into a little maze of hedges for the summer festival, and pixel Napoleon has decided to open it with a march. He picks up his baton, the drummers fall in behind him and the Tuileries Parade begins along the gravel paths.

Little flags are planted all over the garden, and every one he collects brings another drummer to the back of the line, which grows longer and a little faster. The hedges stay exactly where the gardeners put them, so the band has to wind its way around them. Bump into a hedge, the garden walls or your own band and the music stops.
