Race the stopwatch one quick sum at a time. Race down a 100-metre track with quick mental math starring pixel Usain Bolt. Solve 8 sums per lap before the stopwatch runs out, build a streak and cross the finish line in this free math game.

Twist: Race laps, not single questions: 8 right answers before the 18-second lap clock stops.

Parody. Usain Bolt has no involvement in making these games and does not endorse them. The character is an original pixel-art caricature.

How to play

There is no timer per question here. Instead, one lap clock starts at 18 seconds and you need 8 right answers before it hits zero; the counter at the top shows how many you have.
Finish a lap early and every second left on the clock pays a lap bonus of 10 points per second. The next lap's clock is a little shorter, so keep the pace up.
Answer by tapping a button or pressing 1, 2, 3 or 4. Every right answer moves the sprinter further down the track, and a streak of right answers multiplies your points up to X4.
A wrong answer, or a lap clock that runs out, ends the race. The sums get harder along the way: additions first, then times tables and two-digit numbers.
M mutes, P or Esc pauses, and the finish screen lets you share your time with a friend.

The story

The stadium clock has broken just before the big race, and the officials need someone to time it by hand. Pixel Usain Bolt has volunteered to run it anyway, as long as somebody keeps up with the numbers while he sprints. The officials scribble a name on the clipboard: Stopwatch Sums.

Every correct answer pushes him further down the track, every streak gives him an extra burst of speed and a single wrong answer makes him stumble out of the race. Reach the finish line and the record board lights up. Stop short, and the crowd will have to wait for the rematch.
