Victory Lap

A victory lap in a buggy, with a stadium in the way. Take a victory lap around the stadium in a little buggy with pixel Usain Bolt. Swap lanes, dodge mascots, a marching band, ball carts and TV camera carts and grab golden stars in this free top-down racing game.

Twist: Hold your lane until a mascot or cart is nearly on you, then dodge late for a +30 slingshot.

Parody. Usain Bolt has no involvement in making these games and does not endorse them. The character is an original pixel-art caricature.

How to play

Stay in a vehicle's lane as it comes towards the buggy. When it is almost on top of you, NOW! flashes at the top of the screen.
Switch lanes at that last moment for SLINGSHOT +30 and a 1-second burst of extra speed.
Dodge too early and there is no slingshot; wait too long and it is a crash. Golden stars add 25 points each on the way.
Mascots, ball carts, TV camera carts and the long marching band all end the lap on contact. Every row leaves one lane open to dodge into.
Swap lanes by tapping a half of the screen, swiping or pressing Left / Right (A / D); M toggles sound, P or Esc pauses, and you can share the score.

The story

The race is won, the crowd is roaring and pixel Usain Bolt is ready for the Victory Lap. His legs, however, have done enough running for one evening, so the stadium staff have lent him a little electric buggy with a flag on the back.

The lap turns out to be busier than the race. Team mascots wander across the lanes to wave at the fans, a marching band plays its way around the track, ball carts trundle back to the storeroom and TV camera carts chase the best angle. Golden stars sparkle along the way. Weave through it all and finish the lap in style.
