Five flights landed at once, and the baggage hall is buried: a huge pile of teal, orange, pink and blue suitcases is stuck at the top of the chute, inching closer to the belt. Pixel Ramón just wants his bag and a good steak dinner in town, so he grabs a luggage trolley and the only thing in his carry-on that bounces, a rolled-up pair of socks. The airport staff call it Carousel Crunch.
Every few seconds the whole pile slips one row further down the chute, and if it reaches the trolley the hall jams up. Spare SIM cards for the next country fall out of the broken bags, worth catching on the trolley. Clear the pile and another flight lands, a little faster each time. Let the socks drop past the trolley three times and the trip is over. How many flights can pixel Ramón sort before his taxi comes?
