Roaming Road Trip

One camper van, five borders, full signal. Drive a camper van down a sunny border-hopping highway with pixel Ramón Cordero. Swap lanes, dodge tractors, caravans and a very relaxed cow and collect signal chips in this free top-down racing game.

Twist: Every 11 seconds a border toll closes all lanes but one green booth, worth 50 points if you get through.

How to play

About every 11 seconds the van reaches a border: a row of toll booths blocks every lane except one with a green light.
"TOLL AHEAD" appears just before each border. Drive through the green booth for +50 points; a closed booth ends the trip.
The green booth is never more than one lane away from you, so one quick move is all it takes.
Between borders, dodge tractors, caravans, hay trucks and the very relaxed cow, and grab signal chips for 25 points each. There is always a free lane, and the highway gets faster.
Swap lanes by tapping a side of the screen, swiping, or pressing Left / Right (A / D). M switches sound, P or Esc pauses, and you can share your score at the end.

The story

Pixel Ramón Cordero has a camper van, a full tank and a plan for the ultimate Roaming Road Trip: cross five countries in one weekend and try the best grilled steak in each of them. His phone switches to the local network at every border before the welcome sign is out of sight, so the map never drops and the music never stops.

The highway has its own plans. Slow tractors, wobbly caravans, hay trucks and one very relaxed cow all share the road. Glowing signal chips float above the lanes to keep the connection strong. Keep the van moving and keep the bars full, because the next grill is only a border away.
