How to play

Tap or click the screen, or press Space, to start.
Each question is a sum of times in minutes:seconds, like 1:45 + 0:30. The answer is a time too: 2:15.
Early sums use whole minutes and :30. Later ones use any seconds, so carry a minute whenever the seconds pass 60, and then come subtractions.
Pick the answer with a tap or a click, or press 1, 2, 3 or 4. The timer is a little longer than usual, but a wrong answer or an empty timer bar ends the round.
Press P or Esc to pause and M for sound. When the round ends, share your score and challenge a friend.

The story

The great games have begun, the stands are full and the official timekeeper has lost his voice from cheering. Pixel Pheidippides offers to help, and soon he is shouting results from the finish line in a contest the crowd names Stadium Clock Sums.

Every race brings a new time to add or take away, and the judges want answers before the next runners line up. Get the seconds right, carry the minutes and the winners get their laurel wreaths on time. Get them wrong and the ceremony grinds to a halt.
