Out past the last road, on a dusty test range ringed by fence posts with measuring marks, someone has stacked the biggest target wall pixel Mark has ever seen: cardboard boxes, foam blocks, plywood boards, paint buckets and a sneaky row of confetti charges tucked in between. The plan for today's experiment, Test Range Rumble, is simple: ride a homemade launcher cart, bounce a tennis ball at the wall and film how the whole thing comes down.
Each confetti charge that pops takes its neighbours with it, and a good hit can set off a chain across the wall. Spare batteries for the launcher fall out now and then, worth catching on the cart. Every cleared wall gets rebuilt a little faster for the next test. Let the ball roll past the cart three times and the experiment is over. How many walls can pixel Mark test before sunset?
