Turbo Kart Cup

Weave past the rivals and grab every boost. Race a turbo kart around a candy-coloured track with pixel Willyrex. Swap lanes, dodge rival karts, cones and tyre walls and grab glowing boost pads in this free top-down racing game.

Twist: Every fifth boost pad hands pixel Willyrex a mystery item: a shield, a turbo or a magnet.

Parody. Willyrex has no involvement in making these games and does not endorse them. The character is an original pixel-art caricature.

How to play

The bar at the top of the screen fills with every boost pad. On the 5th pad, a random item drops into your hands.
SHIELD forgives one crash. BOOST gives 6 seconds of extra speed with double points. MAGNET pulls the pads into your lane for 6 seconds.
Pads are 25 points each, so a magnet run fills the bar for the next item in no time.
Rival karts, rows of cones and long tyre walls pack the track, with one open lane in every row. Without a shield, a single hit ends the race.
Change lanes with a tap on either side, a swipe or Left / Right (A / D). M for sound, P or Esc to pause, then share the result with the chat.

The story

It is the grand final of the Turbo Kart Cup, and pixel Willyrex has dropped to last place after a slightly too ambitious first lap. Now the whole chat wants a comeback, and there are only a few laps left to climb to the top of the podium.

The track is packed. Rival karts weave all over the road, cones mark the tightest corners and walls of tyres guard every bend. Glowing boost pads line the lanes, and every fifth one hands out a surprise item. Dodge, boost and overtake, and the chat might just witness the comeback of the year.
