The cathedral bells are ringing, the crowds are packed along the river and the grandest coronation Paris has ever seen is about to begin. There is one small problem: pixel Napoleon overslept, and his carriage has lost a wheel on the other side of town. There is nothing for it but a Coronation Dash on foot, cape flapping and bicorne held firmly in place.
The streets are a maze of parade preparations. Drummers have left their drums in the road, wine barrels roll out of the cellars, flower sellers block the bridges and pigeons swoop low over the squares. Golden laurel wreaths hang along the route, and every few he collects loads the little confetti cannon he carries for the celebration. Reach the cathedral before the last bell, or the crown will have to wait.
