Sandcastle Siege

Knock down sand forts that fire confetti back. Bounce a ball into towering sand forts on a desert beach near the pyramids with pixel Napoleon. Some towers fire confetti shells back down at the paddle, so dodge them while you smash every block in this free brick breaker game.

Twist: Cannon towers fire confetti shells back at the paddle, and every hit shrinks it for a few seconds.

Parody. Napoleon has no involvement in making these games and does not endorse them. The character is an original pixel-art caricature.

How to play

  1. Move the paddle with the mouse, your finger or the arrow keys, and tap, click or press Space to launch the ball.
  2. Bounce the ball into the sand blocks to break them. Clear every block to move to the next fort.
  3. Towers with a little cannon on top fire confetti shells down at you every few seconds. A hit makes the paddle shrink for 5 seconds, so dodge them.
  4. Break a cannon tower to silence it for 40 bonus points. Letting the ball fall past the paddle costs one of your balls.
  5. Press M for sound and P or Esc to pause. When the game ends, share your score and challenge a friend.

The story

The expedition has reached a sunny beach on the edge of the desert, with the pyramids on the horizon. While the scholars sketch the ruins, the soldiers have built enormous sandcastles along the shore, and they have challenged pixel Napoleon to knock them down with a single ball. The challenge goes down in the camp diary as the Sandcastle Siege.

The castles are not defenceless. A few of the towers hide little toy cannons, and every few seconds they fire a shell of confetti down at the paddle below. Get hit and the paddle shrinks for a while; dodge and keep bouncing until the beach is flat again. How many forts can fall before the tide comes in?
