The closing bell has rung, the traders have gone home and the giant price board on the trading floor has frozen into one solid wall of glowing tiles. The cleaners cannot even reach the windows behind it. Pixel Manuel Indarte, who never leaves a spreadsheet unfinished, steps onto a glowing chart line and starts bouncing a gold coin into the board. The night shift calls it Ticker Tumble.
The chart line has a mind of its own: it grows wider when the market is up and narrower when it is down, again and again, like a share price on a busy day. It is only a game, of course, and nothing here is financial advice. Small gold bars drop out of some tiles, well worth catching. Drop the coin three times and the board wins. How many walls can pixel Manuel clear before the opening bell?
