The quarterly results are out this morning, the whole team is waiting for the numbers and pixel Manuel Indarte has just stepped off the train three streets away from the office. The opening bell rings in a few minutes, and he wants to be at his desk, spreadsheet open, before it does. Call it the Opening Bell Dash.
The streets of the financial district are packed with the morning rush. Briefcases are dropped in the way, piles of files spill out of delivery trolleys, coffee carts park on every corner and paper planes made from old reports glide down from the office windows. Hot coffees wait along the route. Grab them and reach the office before the bell.
