After a long morning in the gym, pixel Jordi Wild has a favourite way to cool down: a fast ride down the old forest ridge on his mountain bike. The locals call the descent the Ridge Rider Rush, and the trick to a great time is simple to say and hard to do: hold your line.
The trail is busy at the weekend. Hikers stop to take photos, deer wander out of the trees, fallen logs lie across the track and mud puddles hide in the shade. Every second he stays in the same lane builds a bigger bonus, and every swerve sends it back to the start. Bags of trail mix wait along the way for a quick snack. How far down the ridge can he ride without blinking?
