Mic Check Match

Match the studio gear, but missed cards lock for a while. Turn over cards on a podcast studio table and match pairs of microphones, headphones, coffee mugs and dumbbells with pixel Jordi Wild. Careful: the two cards of a miss lock for a few seconds before you can try them again, in this free memory game.

How to play

Tap or click a card to turn it over, then pick a second card. A matching picture stays face up; two different ones turn back.
After a miss, both cards lock for 3 seconds and show a padlock. Locked cards cannot be turned until it opens.
Use the wait to turn other cards and remember their pictures for later.
Clear the board to move to the next level. If the clock runs out, the round ends.
On a keyboard, move with the arrow keys and turn cards with Space or Enter. Press M for sound and P or Esc to pause.

The story

The guest arrives in ten minutes and the studio is a mess. Pixel Jordi Wild has knocked a box of picture cards across the table, and every piece of gear in the room is shown on them face down: microphones, headphones, coffee mugs, dumbbells, mountains and campfires. Before the red light goes on, he runs his favourite warm-up: Mic Check Match.

Pairs stay face up and fill the board, but a wrong guess has a cost. The two cards of a miss lock with a little padlock for a few seconds, so you cannot simply flip them again straight away. Remember where everything is, plan the next turn while the locks run down and clear the table before the guest walks in.
