It is festival night in a big seaside city, and the whole bay is glowing. Fireworks pop over the water, the round arena on the hill flashes its giant screen and every rooftop has a party on it. Pixel Ibai Llanos was supposed to be at the big after-party an hour ago, but the streets are packed solid with dancing crowds, and his favourite red sofa is far too comfy to leave behind. So he did the only sensible thing: he strapped a giant bottle of fizzy soda to the back of it, neck down, and gave it a good shake. Fizzy Sofa Flight is cleared for take-off.
Every shake blasts a burst of bubbles out of the bottle and lifts the sofa a little higher, and every pause lets it sink back towards the promenade. Between him and the party stand towers of booming speakers, piles of striped popcorn buckets and silver light rigs from the outdoor stages. Sprinkled donuts float in the gaps, too good to pass up. If he keeps the sofa steady and the soda fizzing, he arrives just in time for the biggest laugh of the night. If not, it is a very soft landing on a very sticky sofa.
