Leaning Tower Stack

Turn each piece once, then drop it on the tower. Build a marble tower in Pisa with pixel Galileo. Every sliding piece can be turned around once before you drop it, so you can fix a bad swing in this free stacking game.

Twist: The first tap turns the sliding piece around and the second drops it: one turn per piece.

Parody. Galileo Galilei has no involvement in making these games and does not endorse them. The character is an original pixel-art caricature.

How to play

  1. A piece slides back and forth above the tower.
  2. Your first tap, click or press of Space reverses the piece's direction. Your second tap drops it.
  3. You get one turn per piece, so use it to bring a piece back over the tower before you let go.
  4. Whatever hangs over the edge is cut off. Line a piece up almost exactly for a PERFECT drop that keeps its width. Miss the tower and the round is over.
  5. Press M for sound and P or Esc to pause. When the round ends, share your score and challenge a friend.

The story

The town of Pisa wants a new bell tower, and pixel Galileo Galilei has offered to help, mainly because he needs somewhere tall to drop cannonballs from. The builders call the project Leaning Tower Stack, and nobody is quite sure whether the lean is a joke or a mistake.

Each marble floor swings in over the pile, and a careless drop shaves off an edge. Galileo's trick is timing: he can send a piece back the other way once before it falls. Build high above the rooftops and the experiment on falling bodies can finally begin.
